Behringer RD-9 22.5° Stand | Chassis-Fitted Desktop Drum Machine Wedges
Built around the Behringer RD-9. A better working position for hands-on rhythm programming.
The Behringer RD-9 brings the classic 909-style drum machine workflow to a modern hardware setup, with dedicated controls for shaping individual drum sounds and a 16-step sequencer designed for hands-on programming.
The Studio Solutions RD-9 22.5° Desktop Stand gives that control surface a gentle incline, making the sequencer, instrument controls and illuminated buttons easier to view and operate.
Rather than relying on a large supporting platform, the stand uses two independent, chassis-fitted wedges developed around the shape of the drum machine.
It's a straightforward way to improve the working position of your RD-9 while keeping the equipment accessible and your desktop organised.
Designed Around the RD-9 Chassis
The instrument's shape determines the support — not the other way around.
Each wedge features a shaped supporting profile designed to accommodate the RD-9 chassis.
Integrated locating features help position the instrument correctly, while raised front retaining lips provide support against forward movement.
The two wedges work independently, supporting the drum machine without requiring connecting rails or an enclosed supporting frame.
This approach keeps the design compact and leaves much of the underside and rear of the instrument accessible.
A Comfortable 22.5° Working Angle
The 22.5° incline provides a useful balance between a natural hands-on playing position and improved visibility of the drum machine's controls.
It's particularly practical when:
Programming patterns using the 16-step sequencer
Adjusting individual drum voices and sound-shaping parameters
Working with the RD-9 behind a synthesizer or controller
Integrating the drum machine into a larger hardware workstation
Keeping the control surface visible during longer production sessions
The incline raises the rear of the instrument without creating the steeper, more upright position of a high-angle stand.
Independent Reinforced Wedges
Two separate supports, designed to work with the chassis.
Each wedge incorporates a triangular supporting structure with internal reinforcement.
The open construction provides strength without surrounding the instrument with unnecessary material.
Because the wedges are independent, they can be positioned beneath the appropriate supporting areas of the drum machine.
The design also leaves clearance around the rear and underside for audio connections, MIDI, power cables and general cable routing.
