The fixed 30-degree angle raises the sampler’s display, 16 velocity-sensitive pads, sample controls, sequencer and touch pad towards the user. This makes beat creation, sample triggering, pattern sequencing and live manipulation feel more natural than operating the instrument completely flat on a desktop.
The instrument is officially known as the Korg electribe sampler, with the metallic red version carrying the electribe2s-RD model designation. Musicians also commonly refer to it as the Electribe 2S, E2S or ESX2.
The Electribe Sampler measures approximately 339mm wide and 189mm from front to rear.
The S30 provides approximately 170 mm along each angled equipment support, leaving approximately 19 mm of rear overhang when the front edge is located against the retaining lips.
At 200mm wide, the stand supports the central section of the sampler while remaining compact and discreet beneath the wider chassis.
The connected open-frame construction leaves useful space behind and beneath the unit. Power, audio, MIDI, USB and sync cables can remain connected while the sampler stays installed and ready to use.
Raised front retaining lips help prevent the Electribe moving forwards during pad playing, sequencing and live performance.
Rubber feet beneath the frame and anti-slip equipment contact spots are fitted as standard across our open-format stand range.

The 30-degree angle provides a strong hands-on working position without making the sampler excessively upright.
It is particularly well suited to musicians who actively finger-drum on the pads, trigger samples, enter sequencer steps and manipulate the touch pad during a performance.
The raised position also works well when the Electribe is placed behind another controller, keyboard or desktop instrument.
