This large angled desktop stand is supplied as two separate support wedges. Their independent design allows you to position them at the most appropriate spacing for your equipment rather than forcing every device onto a predetermined frame.
Place the wedges closer together beneath a compact controller or groovebox, or spread them further apart to support a laptop, keyboard or wider desktop instrument. They can also be positioned to avoid underside ventilation openings, rubber feet, access panels and other obstructions.
The long angled supports were originally developed around the front-to-back depth of a ROLI Seaboard, making them suitable for considerably more than laptop use. Their size provides useful support beneath many compact keyboards, grooveboxes, samplers, drum machines and music-production controllers.
For laptop use, the raised rear position angles the keyboard towards the user and lifts the display. The open space between the wedges leaves much of the underside exposed, helping maintain airflow and providing room for power, USB, audio and peripheral cables.
For music equipment, the angle improves visibility of screens, controls and panel markings while presenting the instrument in a more immediate hands-on position.
Small contact pads provide separated support points along the upper surface, while the raised front lips help prevent suitable equipment from sliding forwards.
