Studio Solutions Large Desktop Studio Monitor Speaker Stands are designed for 6”, 7” and 8” speakers requiring a wider and more substantial platform than our compact monitor stands.
The large 280 x 320 mm platform comfortably supports substantial nearfield monitors such as the Yamaha HS8 shown in the product images. The open-leg design keeps the area beneath each speaker usable for audio interfaces, rack equipment, synths, MIDI controllers, computer displays and other studio hardware.
Each stand is manufactured from 18 mm birch plywood in our Loughborough workshop. The legs are individually dowel-located and permanently glued into position, creating a clean and rigid structure without relying on exposed metal brackets.
A raised rear safety lip helps prevent the monitor or isolation pad from moving backwards. Acoustic foam isolation strips fitted beneath the feet help decouple the stand from the desk, reduce transferred vibration and protect the work surface.
Available in four standard heights from 100 mm to 250 mm, these large studio monitor risers can be selected to suit your desk, equipment and listening position. Custom platform dimensions and heights are also available for unusually wide or deep speakers.
