Angled Desktop Stand for Pioneer DDJ-RZX – Heavy-Duty Support - Pair
he Pioneer DDJ-RZX is not a small controller. It needs rather more than a repurposed laptop stand.
This Studio Solutions angled desktop stand pair was developed specifically around the size, chassis and substantial weight of the Pioneer DDJ-RZX.
The two independently positioned supports provide 18 inches / approximately 457mm of support beneath the controller. Although the DDJ-RZX has a deeper overall external measurement, part of that depth is created by its raised rear display housing.
The support rails sit beneath the complete main chassis footprint, while the raised screen section extends naturally behind the ends of the rails.
Each support uses three separate desk-contact points, including an additional central foot designed to distribute the load of the large controller more evenly across the desk.
The angled position raises the DDJ-RZX controls and screens into a clearer working position, making the controller easier to view and operate from a seated or standing studio setup.
Because the two supports are separate, they can be positioned beneath appropriate areas of the controller chassis without imposing a fixed overall stand width.
The open-frame construction also leaves valuable space beneath and behind the DDJ-RZX for ventilation and cable routing.

DESIGNED FOR THE DDJ-RZX CHASSIS
The stand has been designed around the underside chassis rather than simply matching the controller’s maximum external depth.
The DDJ-RZX rear display section rises above and projects beyond the main supported chassis. The 457mm rails therefore support the full underside body of the controller while the screen housing remains clear behind them.
This avoids unnecessarily extending the rails beneath an area of the controller that has no chassis contact surface.
REINFORCED THREE-POINT BASE
Large professional controllers place considerably more load on a stand than compact DJ equipment.
A third central foot has therefore been incorporated beneath each support. This creates three desk-contact points per side and helps distribute the DDJ-RZX across the working surface.
For the best result, use the stand on a rigid, stable and level desk.
POSITIONING
Position the two supports beneath solid areas of the DDJ-RZX chassis.
Ensure that:
• Both supports are spaced evenly
• All six desk-contact feet sit fully on the desk
• The controller rests against both front retaining lips
• The supports do not obstruct ventilation openings
• Power, USB and audio cables remain free from pressure
• The desk itself is suitable for the weight of the controller
OTHER EQUIPMENT
This design may also suit selected large Pioneer DJ and AlphaTheta controllers, including the DDJ-RZ, DDJ-SZ, DDJ-SZ2, DDJ-FLX10 and XDJ-XZ.
These additional models have different underside feet, chassis shapes and connection layouts and have not necessarily been physically tested.
Please contact Studio Solutions with the exact make and model before ordering for equipment other than the DDJ-RZX.
